Lakewood High School’s video has received quite a bit of popularity. I had the opportunity to work on the editing of the video for the official competition, and I am still amazed with how big this whole thing has become.
We were talking about it today, and I think that one of the coolest aspects is that for one day at least, we were the voice of education in America. And we weren’t some news story about some shooting, schools failing, or our generation being a failure. Instead, we showed that we are capable of coming together to make something awesome, and that together we can do great things.
We are tigers.
We are family.
